Amanda Berridge, High School Classroom Teacher for LogicClassroom Teacher

BA, Denison University

Amanda Berridge earned her bachelor’s degree in Classical Civilizations and Latin from Denison University. She has more than fifteen years of experience teaching a variety of subjects, including formal and informal Logic. Amanda favors the Socratic method over lecture-based instruction, and enjoys facilitating students’ education through instructor-directed discovery and exploration.

After spending the last three years working part-time in the healthcare industry, Amanda is excited to resume teaching. One of her chief joys as an instructor is hearing students recognize patterns and discover connections between their studies and the world around them.

Amanda currently lives in Ohio, with her aviator husband and their three children. They have homeschooled for seventeen years and going strong. When she’s not teaching or exploring Ohio’s many museums and nature parks with friends and family, Amanda loves a good book, a cozy nook, and a cup of something hot and delicious.
