Christiana Hewlett

Christiana HewlettClassroom Teacher

BA, University of Wyoming

Christiana Hewlett grew up in a large, homeschooling family in southeast Wyoming. She graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor's degree in graphic design. Christiana has experience as an instructor with her local 4-H program and has taught students in both live and online classroom settings. She is eager to contribute her skills and to give back to the homeschooling community by her work with HSLDA

Inspired by Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s philosophy that, “Beauty will save the world,” Christiana strives to use her skills in art and design to help bring this about. She particularly enjoys graphic design because of its unique versatility in translating complex ideas into orderly and beautiful forms, and hopes to pass along this appreciation to her students.

In her free time, Christiana enjoys reading through her ever-growing stack of books, and illustrating scenes from her favorite stories or poems. She also loves fishing, backpacking, skiing, and snowshoeing in the mountains.
