Dr. Erica Manzo earned a bachelor’s degree in music theory from Baylor University, a master’s degree in music theory from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Doctorate in musical arts degree in Clarinet Performance from the University of Texas at Austin. She has performed professionally three times at the International Clarinet Association’s ClarinetFest, given a solo recital at the University of Oklahoma’s Clarinet Symposium, and performed with the Missouri Symphony.

Erica has more than twenty years of experience teaching music to pre-collegiate and collegiate students and is passionate about instilling in students an appreciation for beauty through music She has taught music classes at local schools, in private lessons, online, and as a homeschooling mom. She has also built an online E-Theory music “bootcamp” for incoming freshmen music majors at the university level. She enjoys new challenges and adapting to each learning environment. She believes teaching is her vocation and loves introducing students to new genres of music and helping them understand what's going on in each piece.

Erica currently lives in the midwest with her husband and two children.
