Natalie Glaser

Lora MarksClassroom Teacher

BA, Patrick Henry College

Natalie Glaser graduated from Patrick Henry College with her BA in journalism (liberal arts track). Her favorite class was Major Christian Authors with Dr. Gene Edward Veith. The class helped her realize that truly great literature does more than entertain; it helps us grapple with hard truths and understand ourselves, the world, and God better.

Natalie is passionate about teaching literature because she loves immersing herself in a great story and wants to help students see how literature provides a window into human nature and allows us to explore the consequences of different philosophies. Most of all, she wants students to experience, like she did, that truly great books can help us love God more and become better people.

Before becoming a full-time mother, Natalie spent a semester teaching English in China and a year teaching at a Christian school in New Mexico. She now lives in Virginia with her husband William, their two beautiful daughters, and a rabbit named Bert. She is actively involved in her church and enjoys reading, tea, and (though she hates to admit it) knitting.
