BS, University of California, Irvine

Newton Quan earned his BS in applied physics from UC Irvine. In order to pursue a career in teaching, he received his California Teaching Credential from CSU San Marcos and renewed it at UC San Diego.

Newton has been teaching and tutoring for the past eleven years, beginning at the Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad and then moving to Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego. His teaching/tutoring career has included Physics, AP® Physics, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and AP® Calculus.
