Sean Gilroy has been teaching high school social studies for the past 23 years. He earned his Master of Science degree in education from St. John’s University and is a National Board Certified Teacher. Over the years he has taught a variety of courses that include Syracuse University Project Advance Economics, AP US History and Government, AP Economics as well as many other high school requirements and electives. His pedagogy focuses on fostering appreciation for the subject while at the same time providing students with the tools they will need to be successful later in life. He has coached multiple championship Mock Trial teams and serves as a mentor to new teachers.
Sean lives in the Hudson Valley with his wife and homeschooled daughters. His free time is spent visiting historical sites and studying the American Civil War. He has a passion for restoring old Jeeps and all outdoor activities.
