Spanish 1 introduces students to Spanish language and culture. Students develop basic skills in speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish. Students who complete Spanish 1 are well-prepared for Spanish 2.

Spanish 2 teaches students intermediate language skills and advanced topics about Hispanic culture. Students refine and develop speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish. Those who complete Spanish 2 are well-prepared for Spanish 3.

TWO-SEMESTER COURSE | AUG 21, 2023 - MAY 3, 2024
Spanish 3 builds on the intermediate topics learned in Spanish 2. Students grow their skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in the Spanish language, and study advanced Hispanic cultural topics. Students who successfully complete Spanish 3 may be able to test out of college-level Spanish.
