Reagan Larson

Classroom Teacher

Reagan Larson earned a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from James Madison University and a master’s degree in biological sciences with a specialization in microbiology from South Dakota State University. She has taught science in person and online at the university level and for local homeschooling co-ops.

Reagan grew up in Virginia where she was homeschooled and her family were HSLDA members. She discovered her love of science and teaching at community college when she had to find microbes in donkey fecal matter. After that experience, Reagan knew she would spend the rest of her life in this field and hoped to inspire in others a similar love for God’s creation. After an internship at the West Virginia Department of Agriculture as a food safety microbiologist, she moved halfway across the country to pursue her master’s degree and delve deeper into the amazing world of microbiology.

Reagan currently resides in South Dakota with her husband and silly black lab. She is excited to share her passion for science with the students of HSLDA Online Academy.
