Mathematics

This course serves as a bridge between arithmetic and algebra. Students explore the skills and concepts necessary for basic algebraic methods, which provides a solid foundation for Algebra 1 and subsequent high school math courses.

This course introduces students to the study of relationships between variables. Students who master the fundamentals of Algebra 1 will be well-prepared for advanced mathematics courses—and for the many careers which depend on these skills. This course is NCAA-approved.

This course introduces students to the visual study of shapes, sizes, patterns, and positions. Students explore spatial sense and geometric reasoning while developing real life problem solving skills. This course is NCAA-approved.

Algebra 2 teaches students the language which describes functional relationships in God’s universe. Students grow their problem-solving abilities and learn the necessary skills for advanced math courses such as Pre-Calculus & Trigonometry. This course is NCAA-approved.

This course explores functions, graphs, and the other concepts necessary for success in AP Calculus AB. Students who successfully complete Pre-Calculus & Trigonometry are well-prepared for advanced mathematics courses. Pre-Calculus & Trigonometry is approved for dual credit at Colorado Christian University. This course is NCAA-approved.

This course introduces students to college-level math and equips them for further advanced study. Assignments challenge students to both achieve the right results and justify their conclusions—all while preparing them for the AP exam. AP Calculus AB is approved for dual credit at Colorado Christian University. This course is NCAA-approved.
