College Prep Courses

This course introduces students to modern world history (1200 AD–present) at the college level. Students expand their knowledge of the people, events, and ideas that have shaped our world, tracing human history from the medieval period up to the present day, while preparing for the AP exam. This course is NCAA-approved.

This course introduces students to U.S. History at the college-level. Students analyze political, social, cultural, and economic developments from the pre-Columbian period to the present while preparing for the AP exam. This course is NCAA-approved.

AP US Government introduces students to college-level Government study and prepares them for the AP exam. Students engage with the theoretical origins of US government and politics while examining their practical application throughout history. This course is NCAA-approved.

This course introduces students to core economic concepts and teaches them to analyze market behavior while preparing for the AP exam. Microeconomics is designed to be taken sequentially before AP Macroeconomics.

This course introduces students to the operations of the economy on a national and global scale while preparing for the AP exam. AP Macroeconomics is designed to be taken sequentially after AP Microeconomics. This course is NCAA-approved.

This course introduces students to modern European history (1450 AD–present) at the college-level. Students learn to evaluate the people, events, and ideas that have impacted western civilization—from the Renaissance to contemporary European events—while preparing for the AP exam. This course is NCAA-approved.

This course introduces students to literature at the college-level and equips them for advanced literary study. Assignments prompt students to analyze and write with sophisticated style while preparing them for the AP exam. This course is NCAA-approved.

Assignments prompt students to consider elements of composition at the highest level, providing practice and instructor feedback to ensure students can use them with sophisticated control—and improve scores on the AP Exam. Assignments challenge students to both achieve the right results and justify their conclusions—all while preparing them for the AP exam. AP Calculus AB is approved for dual credit at Colorado Christian University. This course is NCAA-approved.
