When are tuition and fees due?
Payment is due in full to reserve your student’s seat in a course. Payment is made by credit card during the registration process.
When are the registration deadlines?
EARLY REGISTRATION – 2026–27
Save an additional $50 per course if you sign up by March 18, 2026.
FALL AND YEARLONG COURSES – 2026–27
Registration for fall and yearlong courses closes on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
Fall and yearlong classes begin on Monday, August 17, 2026.
SPRING COURSES – 2027
Registration for AP Macroeconomics closes on Friday, January 1, 2027.
Registration for spring-only courses closes on Wednesday, January 6, 2027.
AP spring semester resumes on Monday, January 4, 2027.
Spring-only classes begin on Monday, January 11, 2027.
Please note that full payment is due at the time of registration.

If my plans change after I register for a course, can I get a refund?
If you need to drop a course, log into your parent account and click “Drop/Flex this course” next to the name of the course you wish to drop. You will be eligible for a partial refund of course tuition up to the fifteenth day of the semester when the course begins. After the fifteenth day, no refunds are available.

How much do the courses cost?
Tuition costs vary depending on the type of course you choose and the time of year when you register. You’ll find a full breakdown of course costs on this page.
How do I register for a course?
It only takes a few minutes to sign up online using our simple course registration form.

Does the Academy accept funds from ESAs or school choice programs?
The Academy does not accept direct payments from ESAs or government agencies. We require direct payments from parents. Some parents, however, have been reimbursed from their state for Academy courses through various school choice funding options. Before enrolling in Academy courses, please check with your state agency to determine its requirements and then contact us to confirm whether we can accommodate those requirements. Keep in mind that the final decision on reimbursement rests with your state agency.
Are scholarships available?
We don’t offer financial aid or scholarships—but families facing financial challenges may be eligible for a HSLDA Compassion grant. To contact HSLDA Compassion, click here.
