Allison Petrin

Classroom Teacher

Allison Petrin graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Secondary Mathematics and holds a certification in grades 7-12 Mathematics in Texas. She taught 8th grade math and Algebra 1 for four years at a public school before transitioning to online education and tutoring.

Allison is passionate about teaching students and providing a space for them to grow in responsibility, integrity, and curiosity. Her goal as a teacher is to support and empower students through math to reach their full potential to glorify God.

Allison lives with her husband outside Fort Worth, Texas, where she enjoys crafts, baking, and competitive game nights with friends. She looks forward to getting to know students and helping them thrive in Algebra and beyond.

This course introduces students to the study of relationships between variables. Students who master the fundamentals of Algebra 1 will be well-prepared for advanced mathematics courses—and for the many careers which depend on these skills. This course is NCAA-approved.
