Heather Kipp earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Northwestern Saint Paul with majors in mathematics education and Bible and a minor in science. She went on to receive her Master of Arts degree in education from Bethel University with a concentration in online teaching.
Heather has been teaching math for over two decades. She has taught at the high school and college levels as well as tutoring individual students. For the past ten years, she has also been a home educator and enjoys the freedom and fun that comes from learning together as a family.
Heather is passionate about teaching math and enjoys helping students become life-long learners. Many of her favorite teaching experiences have been while ministering to students in the inner-city. She loves helping students overcome struggles and begin to thrive.
In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, especially while hiking, biking, gardening, or reading great books together. Music has always been an important part of her life, and she loves to play the flute and piano in her spare time. Heather is also active in her local homeschool community, church, and at an inner-city ministry which serves the nutritional, practical, and spiritual needs of others.
Heather has been teaching with the Academy since 2020.
