John Partridge
John Partridge earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Liberty University and a master’s degree in applied mathematics from Florida State University. He has more than twenty years of experience teaching secondary math and computer science courses, both in-person and online.
John strongly believes that computer science is filled with examples and illustrations that point to a creator—or, as he likes to think of it, a Divine Programmer. For John, matter is the hardware, and the relationship that matter obeys is the software. All come from one source: the one true living God of the scriptures. He loves sharing this perspective on computer programming with his students.
He and his wife Karen live in Maine and are currently homeschooling their five children.
John has been teaching with the Academy since 2022.
