Angie Kiker
Classroom TeacherMS, Southern Wesleyan University Angie Kiker earned her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English from Belmont Abbey College and her Master’s Degree in Education from Southern Wesleyan University. Following graduation, she embarked upon her vocation teaching high school English in South Carolina public schools. She taught 9th through 12th grades in subjects ranging from World literature to British and American literature. She paused her teaching career to raise a family and homeschool her four children. Angie’s desire to help students appreciate literature and writing fuels her motivation to strengthen their reading and writing skills. She enjoys American literature and Southern writers the most, including Flannery O’Connor and Pat Conroy. In her spare time, she likes reading, watching movies, playing games with her children, relaxing at the lake, and exercising. |
