Caleb Nelson
Master TeacherMDiv, Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary Caleb, the eldest of eleven children, was brought up by hand on a sheep ranch in Northern Colorado. His parents taught him a love for the Lord and the English language as they homeschooled him from kindergarten through high school, and those loves were only broadened and deepened by his time at Patrick Henry College and Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He has served as the pastor of Harvest Reformed Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Gillette, Wyoming, since 2016. His prayer is that his instruction, in the classroom and the pulpit, will be “a fountain of life, turning people away from the snares of death” (Proverbs 13:14). As his students (and congregation) will tell you, Caleb most enjoys discussing the literary aspects of theology and the theological aspects of literature – something he gets do regularly in the pages of WORLD magazine, where he has been reviewing books since 2011. He lives on the high plains of Wyoming with his wife Alexa and their three children. Caleb has been teaching for the Academy since 2013. |
