Daniel Hyland
Classroom TeacherBA, Catholic Distance University Daniel Hyland earned a bachelor's degree in Theology from Catholic Distance University. The second oldest in a homeschooled family of six, he has done graduate study in history and has held several positions in research and media at public policy think tanks in DC and elsewhere. Daniel comes from a line of public servants in the military and federal government and grew up just outside the DC Beltway, close to the pulse of American federal politics. His central conviction is that Christians are called to be God's salt in the world, informing its structures and policies with the light of Christ's wisdom and love, and he loves nothing more than deep, thoughtful discussion on the core issues that shape our lives as Christians and Americans. Daniel lives in the Shenandoah Valley with his wife and two daughters. |
