Heather Kipp
Master TeacherMA, Bethel University, MN Heather Kipp earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Northwestern Saint Paul with majors in Mathematics Education and Bible and a minor in Science. She went on to receive her Master of Arts degree in Education from Bethel University with a concentration in Online Teaching. Heather has been teaching high school mathematics for over two decades and continues to teach in a variety of capacities. Some of her teaching adventures have included teaching high school mathematics in the public schools, teaching ACT test prep courses, tutoring individual students, starting a tutoring ministry, and teaching college mathematics courses. For the past ten years, she has also been a home educator and has enjoyed the freedom and fun that comes from learning together as a family. She has a passion for teaching mathematics and enjoys helping students become life-long learners. Many of her favorite teaching experiences have been while ministering to students in the inner-city, and she is always blessed when she is able to help students overcome struggles and begin to thrive. At the top of Heather’s list of favorite activities is spending time with her husband and four children, which often includes hiking, biking, gardening, and reading great books together. Music has always been an important part of her life, and she loves to play the flute and piano in her spare time. Since she has a passion to serve others, she enjoys being active in her local homeschool community, in her local church, and at an inner-city ministry which serves the nutritional, practical, and spiritual needs of others. Heather has been teaching with the Academy since 2020.
