Jessica Hines has her Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from Arizona State University. Her 10-year teaching experience includes many years of private tutoring as well as teaching a large variety of local homeschool classes, including high school chemistry and biology labs, high school English, and test preparation. For the past five years, she has served as the bookkeeper of her local church and is passionate about Christian young people learning the essential principles of personal finance.

Jessica strives to inspire this same passion in her students and loves watching them discover the how and why of finances. Prior to having kids, Jessica worked several years in the nutrition field doing menu planning and analysis for schools and long-term care communities. As a teacher Jessica is passionate about helping students overcome obstacles in the learning process, succeed, and discover the gifting and talents God has given them. Jessica loves to help her students integrate what they are learning to real life and see how God’s Word applies to every area of life.

Jessica lives in Mesa, AZ with her husband Daniel and their three young children. In addition to partnering with Daniel in caring for their children, Jessica works part-time as a teacher and bookkeeper. Her hobbies include enjoying the outdoors, hiking with her family, hot chocolate, and stargazing.

Jessica has been teaching for HSLDA Online Academy since 2019.
