John Wiley earned a bachelor's degree in Christian Ministries and a master's degree in Biblical Studies. He wished to become equipped to serve God in whatever capacity might arise. As a lifelong learner who is passionate about education, John returned to the classroom for a master's in Humanities with a concentration in US History and took additional graduate school courses at Liberty University's Helms School of Government.

John has served in pastoral ministry in both North Carolina and Virginia, and is currently an associate pastor. In addition to pastoring, he has enjoyed working as a teacher at both the high school and undergraduate levels since 2014. John is especially excited to help students see the relevancy of looking at American government and politics through the lens of a Christian worldview. This interplay between faith and politics is a complex endeavor, but it is well worth the attention of young minds, and it thrills Mr. Wiley to help others think through these most significant of questions about ourselves and our nation

John lives in Blue Ridge, Virginia, with his wonderful wife and two boys.
