Miriam McElvain
Master TeacherMA, University of Dallas Miriam McElvain is currently working on a doctoral degree in politics at the University of Dallas. She graduated from Patrick Henry College in 2010 with a degree in government focusing on political theory. After graduation, she interned for Family Research Council, researching the intersection of politics with familial, religious, and education trends in the United States. She has been active on several campaigns, including co-leading a team of 80 volunteers during a Colorado Senate election. Before continuing higher education, she worked as a litigation assistant at Home School Legal Defense Association for almost five years. Her academic interests include the family, the land, Augustine, and former Soviet nations. She currently resides in Irving, Texas. Miriam has been teaching with the Academy since 2015. |
