iCitizen Live (Government)
ONE-SEMESTER COURSE
This course is a joint venture between HSLDA Online Academy and Generation Joshua. It equips students with the practical and historical knowledge needed for a proper civics education.

Constitutional Law
ONE-SEMESTER COURSE
This course teaches students about the pivotal Supreme Court cases which have shaped American law. These cases cover a variety of topics including abortion, religious liberty, free speech, and judicial review.

Microeconomics
ONE-SEMESTER COURSE | FALL SEMESTER
This course introduces students to core economic concepts and teaches them to analyze market behavior while preparing for the AP exam. Microeconomics is designed to be taken sequentially before AP Macroeconomics.

Macroeconomics
ONE-SEMESTER COURSE | SPRING SEMESTER
This course introduces students to the operations of the economy on a national and global scale while preparing for the AP exam. AP Macroeconomics is designed to be taken sequentially after AP Microeconomics.

Personal Finance
ONE-SEMESTER COURSE
This course teaches students individual financial management principles from a biblical worldview. They are equipped with the skills and practices they need to be confident, lifelong stewards of their finances.

Logic & Critical Thinking
ONE-SEMESTER COURSE
This course teaches students how to use and interpret language to reason well. They learn that logic is the science of thinking, something which is found in God’s nature and guides all areas of human inquiry.

Computer Skills
ONE-SEMESTER COURSE
This course introduces students to basic computer literacy. Students learn the fundamental skills needed for successful computer operations while also learning HTML coding and important cybersecurity protocols.

Graphic & Web Design
ONE-SEMESTER COURSE
This course introduces students to front-end web development. Students learn to code a website using HTML. CSS, and JavaScript, and design graphics using image editing software.

|
Computer Science
ONE-SEMESTER COURSE
This course introduces students to advanced programming languages. There is particular emphasis on Python, which is an object-oriented programming language. Students study Python databases, code editors, folder structures, and path structures.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills for Success
ONE-SEMESTER COURSE
This course prepares students for life after high school, and equips them to succeed in a variety of real-world situations. HSLDA is partnering with Dale Carnegie, a celebrated expert in communication curriculum, to bring this class to homeschooling families.
