Generation Joshua to bring you iCitizen Live, an interactive, teacher-led civics course designed to prepare your highschooler, or advanced 8th grader, to be an informed and engaged American Citizen.


Constitutional Law, Live Online High School Course

Constitutional Law


In Constitutional Law by Michael Farris, students learn about the foundations of the U.S. Constitution as well as study pivotal Supreme Court decisions affecting religious freedom, abortion, free speech, and judicial review.


AP Microeconomics, Live Online High School Course



AP® Microeconomics introduces students to core economic concepts and teaches them to analyze market behavior. Topics include scarcity, supply and demand, competition,  profit, income inequality, the role of government, and a biblical perspective on economic decision making.


AP Macroeconomics, Live Online High School Course



AP® Macroeconomics introduces students to the operations of the economy on a national and global scale. Topics include economic growth, inflation, unemployment, the financial sector, international trade, economic policy, and a biblical perspective on economic principles and practices.


Personal Finance, Live Online High School Course

Personal Finance


In the one-semester Personal Finance course, students will learn how to manage their own personal finances. Practical applications include creating a personal budget and filing taxes.


Logic, Live Online High School Course

Logic & Critical Thinking


In Logic & Critical Thinking, students learn how to use and interpret language to reason well. They study logic as the science of thinking, as something found in God’s nature, and which guides all areas of human inquiry. This course will aid students in preparation for the SAT® or ACT®.


Computer Skills, Live Online High School Course

Computer Skills


Computer Skills introduces students to the fundamental skills that they need to use and operate a computer in everyday life.


Graphic & Web Design, Live Online High School Course

Graphic & Web Design


Graphic & Web Design is an introduction to front-end web development. Students will code the website using HTML and CSS, and design graphics using image editing software.


Computer Science, Live Online High School Course

Computer Science


In Computer Science, students will learn about more advanced topics such as the Python programming language, databases, code editors, folder structures, and path structures.


Music Appreciation & History, Live Online High School Course

Music Appreciation & History


Music Appreciation & History explores music history through its various stylistic periods, from medieval chant to 20th century music. The course utilizes listening examples of influential composers alongside historical context to gain greater understanding of the growth and development of music.



Communication & Interpersonal Skills for Success, Live Online High School Course

Communication & Interpersonal Skills for Success


HSLDA Online Academy has partnered with Dale Carnegie to offer Communication & Interpersonal Skills for Success. This live, interactive semester course focuses on preparing young adults for the real world by developing the communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills needed for success.
